Is nuclear power really a viable option for Australia? This article seems to be a fair attempt at honestly weighing up the pros and cons but it's pretty damning of the nuclear path.
Those who DO learn from history are doomed to watch others repeat it anyway.

Slowly getting to grips with #darktable. Coming from other editors it sure is a steep learning curve.
I really loved the #11ty conf today, so many great speakers and tips/tricks.

On Googling RICE for a torn calf muscle I discover that this method of treatment may have been superseded by PEACE, LOVE, and MEAT, all of which sounds to me like a recipe for a happy life!

So this was my first post with a photo and although the photo appeared in my #ktistec feed it did not show when the post was federated to Mastodon! It seems that an incorrect link was set by ktistec, a not insignificant bug.

Early days, but I am liking the self hosted #ktistec window on the #fediverse so far. Discovery seems to work better than my previous experiments with #gotosocial. It remains to be seen whether the lack of compatibility with the Mastodon API is a drawback.
